Four ways to study, and when to use each
Full mock test
Twenty questions with a twelve-question pass mark on the 2025 version, or ten with six on the 2008 version. Use it to measure, not to learn — take one cold before you start studying so you know your real baseline.
Quick quiz
Ten questions. The right size for a spare five minutes, and the mode to use most often in the first two weeks while you are still learning the material.
65/20 test
Only the twenty starred questions, for applicants who are 65 or older with twenty years as a lawful permanent resident. Ten asked, six to pass. Check whether you qualify.
Flashcards
No multiple choice. You say the answer out loud, then reveal it and grade yourself. This is the closest thing to the real oral test and the mode to live in for your last two weeks.
